Tecnalia participated in the I-ESA’26 conference, held in conjunction with the 3rd DT Summit, which took place from April 13-16 in the beautiful enclave of Funchal, on the island of Madeira, Portugal.
Under the inspiring slogan “Unveiling an ethical and people-centered digital future”, the event was consolidated as a reference forum for the exchange of knowledge on the evolution of digital transformation. One of the highlights of the participation was the presentation and discussion of the recent paper: “Standardizing Machine Data for Semantic Interoperability: An OPC UA-Based Approach in Bearing Manufacturing.”
This work is fully aligned with AI-MATTERs objectives in addressing the key challenge of semantic interoperability. Through an OPC UA-based approach, it enables to provide AI systems with meaningful and context-rich data, fostering seamless interoperability and supporting scalable, reliable and explainable deployment of AI in industrial environments.
