On September 28, 2026, TECNALIA and INNOLAB Bilbao will host a conference in Bilbao titled “The Data Strategy as an Enabler of AI Factories,” an event focused on the strategic role of data in accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence in industry. The event will bring together companies, technology experts, and stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem to share experiences, use cases, and opportunities related to AI Factories and the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector.
During the event, participants will explore how a robust data management strategy ensures that information is accessible, interoperable, and secure—a fundamental requirement for the deployment of advanced artificial intelligence solutions. The event will also address topics such as data governance, technological sovereignty, and the creation of collaborative ecosystems aligned with European initiatives.
The program will include a presentation of KATEA DataSpace, a multisectoral platform designed to facilitate the creation and operation of data spaces, as well as a session dedicated to AI-MATTERS, the European initiative that promotes the resilience and flexibility of the manufacturing sector through the integration of artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous systems.
In addition, representatives from companies and organizations within the industrial ecosystem will participate in a roundtable discussion to explore how AI Factories can help democratize access to AI infrastructure, reduce technological barriers, and turn data into a competitive advantage for manufacturing SMEs.
