Within the framework of the European AI-Matters project, the Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITA) has collaborated with Seguas Aire Comprimido y Frío Industrial to apply artificial intelligence in the field of predictive maintenance.
The main objective has been to develop a methodology to generate synthetic data, used in the validation and testing of algorithms for vibration analysis in industrial refrigeration systems. This combination of real and synthetic data has allowed to improve the accuracy and reliability of the anomaly detection models, overcoming the limitations derived from the scarcity and quality of available data.
Thanks to the financial support of the European AI-Matters program, Seguas has been able to access advanced analysis and simulation resources, strengthening the knowledge exchange with ITA. This collaboration lays the foundation for future AI applications in predictive maintenance within the industrial sector.
The project demonstrates how the synergy between advanced analytics, synthetic data generation and industry expertise can drive more sustainable, efficient and intelligent manufacturing environments across Europe.
